no, PS2 has the most shovelware. some good exceptions, but a whole lot of just plain crap too.
now that 360 is a little more PS2-like all of a sudden the sonyfans hate the guys with the most games. which pretty much makes them hypocrites.
shooters are a great game genre dummy. I especially like how my rpgs are becoming shooters (Mass Effect, Fallout 3) and my shooters are becoming more rpg-like (Bioshock, Dark Sector). I guess u are too dumb Topcat to see how the genre is evolving in cool new ways lately.

I'm not so sure ME2 will come to PS3. didn't we all think for a while that MGS4 might come to 360? well, I remember hearing that rumor from multiple sources anyway.
that didn't pan out, maybe ME2 won't either. just sayin...
I know, right? lost planet, oblivion, ninja gaiden, BIOSHOCK (best game so far this-gen IMO)... must suck to wait a year+ to play some of the good ones...
look it's great that you do eventually get these and if I owned a PS3 only I'd take them when I could. but I sure wouldn't be BRAGGING about it.

yup. original bioshock is the best game so far this-gen IMO. (although I don't have PS3 and never tried LBP, etc.)
have to disagree with the 'hope there r outdoor levels' part, although I like your enthusiasm. but bioshock finally got indoor environments right, thanks to BEAUTIFUL level design. no need to change it up when the rest of the world hasn't even caught up yet!
hope there r more storyline plot twists because those magazine scans almost look like they're revealing too much of the story as it is...

I chose xbox over PS2 last-gen because of GAMES like Halo, Morrowind & KOTOR. so I would argue that yes, xbox had better games than PS2.
PS2 had some good stuff & A WHOLE F-ING LOT OF CRAP as far as games go...
ok some good points but I still disagree with losing objectivity. we need to recognize objective fact as much as possible in a discussion because that's the middle ground we start at, where (in theory) we can all agree.

that article was poorly-written garbage IMO but there was 1 useful thing: the link to somethinginthesea.com. if u go check it out you'll notice the same brilliant story-telling thru an assortment of media (click on the posted notes & newpaper clippings). good stuff.
